Osteopathy
The Osteopaths at Snowdonia Sports Medicine are Zac Laraman, who is also the Clinical Director and Belinda Rae, associate osteopath.
Osteopathy is a form of 'hands-on' medicine with influences of Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Western Medicine.
Osteopaths train clinically for 4 years full-time with course content more similar to Medical Doctors, but with an underlying hands-on approach to treatment.
Osteopaths use a multitude of skills to assess, diagnose and apply treatment to individuals (postural assessment, biomechanical assessments, orthopaedic and neurological examinations, massage techniques, joint mobilisation, rehabilitative exercises and advice).
Zac is a Registered Osteopath and Sports Massage Therapist with a background in Sports Science. He uses a combination of all his skills to achieve heatlh and fitness for each of his patients and believes that no one treatment approach is the panacea for all problems.
"Whatever helps to improve the quality of life for each person is the best treatment for that person, and often a combination of approaches is the best medicine"
We advise that you seek advice about your problem from your GP first before seeking our help.
